Family reunion on the riviera.

I haven't seen my youngest brother Peter for almost 4 years so it was amazing to be able to see him while he and his new wife, Doreen, were on a Caribbean cruise stopping in Cozumel. They took the ferry across and spent the afternoon with us catching up and seeing some of the sites of PDC. Met at Senor Frogs by the ferry pier for a quick drink. The sun was shining and the ocean bright blue. Connor joined us after school for a late lunch at La Tarraya. Uncle and nephew at the Portal. Took a walk along the beach Stopped off at the Playacar ruins. The tearful farewell came way too quickly but so glad we got to spend the time together.

Another short getaway for Jackie

Taking advantage of post-holiday season pricing, Jackie snagged a bargain price to escape to the sun and see us again. We met at the ADO and took a late lunch beachside at La Tarraya. Jackie organizing her bags. Refreshing margaritas. The moon has been full for a couple of days making for some amazing night views. On Friday we had a lovely lunch at Casa Sophia, although it was a bit rushed for Jordan who had a to dine and dash to pick Connor up from school. Sophia's lobster ravioli with seafood sauce! We hoped to spend some time at the beach but the winds were high making for some crashing waves and chilly breezes. Jackie still waded in while we waved from the shore. Shopping at Soriana was the order of the day on Saturday followed by some Jenga. Aunty Jackie took Connor out for a fun day on Sunday with ice cream, followed by lunch then a long walk to Chedrui for hot wheel therapy. He was thrilled and she was exhausted! Delights at Shark Burger...
