Last week of first semester so Connor is finalizing his coursework. Lunch walk to Fruteria Esmeralda at CTM. 115 pesos ($7) Tues - Connor's final Math exam. Wed - last day to complete outstanding schoolwork. Lunchtime walk to beach and discovered a new 12 peso flaky pastry treat. Ham & Cheese/Nutella Steak for supper Thurs - Gayle and Krista arrived. Drinks at their Airbnb, Mega, tacos at Los Torascos, walk on vibrant 5th. Fri - heavy rain, lunch at Chiltepin. Connor passed all his courses! Sat - Beach day with G, K, Lynne and Harold. Great weather and sea temperature. Lunched at Tarraya then got driven indoors by the rain. Supervising the boy at the gym. Sun - J was sick so we all stayed home and rested.

J back to full weeks. Heavy rain Monday and Tues. Wed Groceries and lunch at Hawaiian Kitchen. Mini Tazone Especial (chicken/pork)  Thurs - woke super early, gym, made stuffed jalopenos, Euchre night. Fri - condo showing, walked the track, lunch at Tarraya - had to sit just inside as it was FULL! Beach was gorgeous for the walk home. Maya Chicken Can string simple sentences together (puedo unir las oraciones simples juntas)!  Sat - Met Cindy and Pete to get SIM cards at Telcel, great long lunch at Papa Charly, walked the beach to Lido for a couple of buckets of beer. Grabbed Renzo lasagna for supper. Sun - lunch at La Taberna.

Lunch at Birria Tacos Dorada Birria consomme Groceries. Beach walk. Took a walk on 5th in the evening and it is noticeably less busy already!  Pier on Constituentes Health start.  Walked to the fruit market at 25 Ave & Calle 4  Great smoothies  Thursday Sushi night.  Lunch at McCarthy's then walk.  Sat - met Cindy and Pete for lunch at Tarraya - 4 hour catch-up!  Sun - lunch at the Mercado, walked and listened to music at the beach. Walk and bakery with Homer in the evening.  Busy but not too crowded

Mon - Bait Lajam Tues -  Mega, gym Wed - Nativo smoothies, pork fajitas. Watched Death to 2021 - hilarious.  Thurs - chat with Jody, chicken/mole at home. Watched Don't Look Up - brilliant  Fri December 31, 2021 - NYE - condo showing so light lunch at Le Coq Express. Croque Madame/crepe. Crepe w/Nutella  Supper at La Taberna, 5th walk, boys out to see fireworks at midnight. Really crowded 5th Ave! ** HAPPY NEW YEAR! ** Sat Jan 1st, 2022- lunch Nativo, walk to check out beaches, super busy. Leftovers and watched Unforgivable - decent watch. Chicken tostada Bacon-wrapped shrimp and cheese Choppy waves and full beach at 38th Sun - lunch Chiltepin, 5th walk.
