Monday Jan 18 - Sunday 24: The week in photos. Groceries and picked up El Pechugon combo for lunch. Finally got into Birria for fried tacos, love the sign "We have no Wi-Fi, you'll have to talk to each other!". Lunchtime walk to the fruit market 3 course meal at Papa Charly 139 pesos/$9 Busy beach Empty 5th Ave This boy is ready for the semester to be over! Travel in the times of the Covid - Week 11

Monday Jan 11  Grey and overcast day with drizzle. Went to the stadium for a few laps of the track and ate food at home. Tuesday Jan 12 Grey and overcast with drizzling rain ... hang on a minute ... That explains things! Got groceries from Mega, it was raining so hard that the store roof was leaking in many spots and they had big bins out to catch it! About $85 including wine, a cooked chicken and lean ground beef. Wednesday Jan 13 Yay morning sunshine! After my daily Spanish lesson, Jordan and I took a much-needed walk then at lunch, the three of us dined at Chapultapec.  Thursday Jan 14 Quiet morning, Jordan still hard at work and Connor worked on an assignment before his afternoon of classes.  Did my Spanish and called my mum who has just received her first Covid vaccination! Today's walks - west above the highway at 38th street and north on the beach. The beach was very busy despite the overcast day. Travel in the times of the Covid - Week 10

Monday Jan 4 Back to work and school. Got a big grocery haul and planning to eat at home most of the week. Bought a roasted chicken for lunch and made pasta with pesto for supper. Evening stroll for ice cream and steps. Amazing murals everywhere! Tuesday Jan 5 Nice lunchtime walk on 5th, visited the beach at Zenzi, very receded and not very many people. Chicken salad for lunch, burgers for supper. Wednesday Jan 6 Jordan ordered pastries for home delivery on Whatsapp. 140 pesos/$9, delivered! Back to the stadium to work off some overindulgence. Thursday Jan 7 We went for a lunchtime walk and spent a little time on the beach - we haven't actually been into the sea for a while now as it has been either cooler or too sargassummy.
