Sunday Nov 15 Took Connor for a quick walk up to the Quinta Allegra Mall as he is interested in some new shoes - it's really nice looking but has pricey stores. Later we went to our old favourite restaurant Casa Sofia, and while it seemed to be doing quite well, every business in the plaza around it had succumbed to the effects of Covid. Unfortunately, like many things in life, the experience you had of place may not endure over time which ended up being the case. The food was just okay (pizza greasy, chicken dry), the service was inattentive and the atmosphere was kinda dull! Oh well, we have lots of other places we want to try. We thought we might take a walk up Juarez Ave. with its multiple bargain shops and restaurants but it just felt too crowded so we headed home. Finished the evening off with a customary trip to get ice cream!
