Travels in the times of the Covid - Week 8

Monday Dec 21 It seems to have just been a 24hr stomach flu and I am feeling much better now. Low on energy so we stayed home. Played a couple of games of Kings Cribbage on the rooftop and enjoyed the warm air. Tuesday Dec 22 Three course lunch (139 pesos/$9.25) at Papa Charly Grill with Debbie before she headed back to the States for Christmas. Ran into Karen Brodie from Belize! New mural in process. Wednesday Dec 23 Family beach stroll at lunchtime. La Taberna for supper. 2 x 1 drinks, wings, coconut shrimp, evening walk. G&T, Blue Hawaiian 56 pesos/$3.10 for 2!  Thursday Dec 24 Jordan worked a half-day then we went for lunch at Cervezeria Chapultepec. Travels in the times of the Covid - Week 7

Monday Dec 14 Construction work in the building next door made for a very noisy day of drilling and hammering, so we escaped to the rooftop at lunch and then Connor and I went for a long walk. Jordan has honed the ability to tune out surrounding sound luckily. Tuesday Dec 15 Discovered Papa Charly - brilliant lunch.  Also sushi 2x1 Tuesday!! Wednesday Dec 18 Construction noise again so walked to Juarez and had street cart food. Games on rooftop.  Thursday Dec 17 Construction again so Jordan has moved up to rooftop serving WiFi from his phone.  Finally made it to Cerveceria Chapultapec - a chain of restaurants where everything on the menu is tapas style for 23 pesos/$1.50.
